How To Play Online Keno
The game of keno is basic, this is
how you play keno. You choose your numbers with a maximum of 10, based
on the numbers between 1 and 80. Each number that you select is called
a keno spot, so however many numbers you play is how many keno spots
you have. Then 20 numbers are chosen, either they are balls, or
numbers from a computer. If you are playing a live version of keno
then the ball draw will occur from a keno booth. There are a few
methods for ball selection a rabbit ear blower, a spinning hand cage
operated by a person, or an akv that sends the encoded ball numbers to
a computer system. If you are playing a video version a random number
generator will make the selections. RNG's are inspected and approved
for use by governing authority.
Then you determine if your keno spots match the numbers selected, if
you have matching numbers then you may win. You can select a maximum
of 10 numbers but having a larger selection doesn't always make it
easier to match the numbers selected. Playing a more numbers may not
necessarily payout as much as just selecting a few numbers either. It
is important to know how your winnings will payout.
Keno is a game of chance so there is no real strategy to playing. You
may come up with a system for selecting your numbers etc, but the
numbers are all chose randomly. So it is hard to know if a number will
come up or not, even if you haven't seen a particular number for
several games doesn't mean it will come up.
The same number may also be selected repeatedly there is no real logic
that can be applied to increase your odds of winning. Some players
like to chose half of their numbers low and half of their selection
higher numbers, sometimes this works but the numbers are all randomly
selected so it is more chance than method. Keno is a fun game to play
and should be just that, a game for entertainment an wager.
